Yes, all programmes conducted by Informatics Academy are permitted by CPE under the Enhance Registration Framework.

What if I cannot attend one of the lessons? Will there be any make up class?

There are no make-up lessons. However, students are encouraged to consult our lecturers or seek assistance during break time.

Is attendance compulsory for local students?

Local students are required to obtain a minimum of 75% attendance

What happens if I cannot attend or complete my course, will there be any refund?

Kindly refer to the PEI-Student contract that you have signed with the school on our Refund Policy.

What is the minimum number of students that is required before a class commences?

A typical class size ranges from about 10 to 40 students for effective learning and communication. In the event that a class is cancelled by Informatics Academy, students shall be informed 2 weeks prior to the date of course commencement.

Am I allowed to defer from my current course of study?

A student may apply for deferment of course or module by submitting the Application of Deferment form with the accompanying supporting documents.

Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and a deferment fee would be applicable upon approval for requests submitted after the term commences. A written response from the School for the outcome of the Application for Deferment will be provided.

Upon approval of the course deferment request, student would have to specify their intended return date and abide by the maximum course duration set by the school or any changes to the course during the period of deferment.

No deferment application is allowed after the 4th lesson.
