Candidature Period
A typical class size ranges from about 10 to 40 students for effective learning and communication. In the event that a class is cancelled by Informatics Academy, students shall be informed 2 weeks prior to the date of course commencement.
As per guidelines set by the Immigration Checkpoints & Authority of Singapore (ICA), students would have to maintain a minimum of 90% attendance on a monthly basis otherwise there could be issues in the renewal of their Student Pass.
As per guidelines set by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA), student pass holders are NOT ALLOWED to undertake any work assignments whilst pursuing their full time studies in Singapore.
A student may apply for deferment of course or module by submitting the Application of Deferment form with the accompanying supporting documents.
Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and a deferment fee would be applicable upon approval for requests submitted after the term commences. A written response from the School for the outcome of the Application for Deferment will be provided.
Upon approval of the course deferment request, student would have to specify their intended return date and abide by the maximum course duration set by the school or any changes to the course during the period of deferment.
No deferment application is allowed after the 4th lesson.
