Are programmes conducted by Informatics Academy registered under the enhanced registration framework (ERF)?

Yes, all programmes conducted by Informatics Academy are permitted by CPE under the Enhance Registration Framework.

Where are the classes conducted?

The classes will be conducted at Informatics City Campus.

What are the operating hours at the Campus?

Our operating hours from 1 August 2020 to 31 August 2020 is as follows:

Monday – Friday: 9.00am – 6pm
Sat, Sun & PH: Closed

Who can the students approach if they require financial assistance for course fee payment?

Students can approach the following for Education Loan:

  • CIMB BANK BERHAD (CIMB BANK)
  • MALAYAN BANKING BERHAD (MAYBANK)
  • POSB BANK SINGAPORE (POSB BANK)
  • RHB BANK BERHAD SINGAPORE (RHB BANK)

We also have 0% Instalment plan arrangements for credit card holders of the following banks:

  • OCBC BANK – 12 and 24 months
  • UOB BANK – 12 months
  • MAYBANK – 06 and 12 months
  • SCB BANK – 12 and 24 months
  • BOC BANK – 06, 12 and 24 months

What if I cannot attend one of the lessons? Will there be any make up class?

There are no make-up lessons. However, students are encouraged to consult our lecturers or seek assistance during break time.

What happens if I cannot attend or complete my course, will there be any refund?

Kindly refer to the PEI-Student contract that you have signed with the school on our Refund Policy.

What are the payment modes available for students?

Students may make their payments through the following modes of payment:

What is the minimum number of students that is required before a class commences?

A typical class size ranges from about 10 to 40 students for effective learning and communication. In the event that a class is cancelled by Informatics Academy, students shall be informed 2 weeks prior to the date of course commencement.

Is attendance compulsory for International students?

As per guidelines set by the Immigration Checkpoints & Authority of Singapore (ICA), students would have to maintain a minimum of 90% attendance on a monthly basis otherwise there could be issues in the renewal of their Student Pass.

Am I allowed to work in Singapore?

As per guidelines set by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA), student pass holders are NOT ALLOWED to undertake any work assignments whilst pursuing their full time studies in Singapore.

Am I allowed to defer from my current course of study?

A student may apply for deferment of course or module by submitting the Application of Deferment form with the accompanying supporting documents.

Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and a deferment fee would be applicable upon approval for requests submitted after the term commences. A written response from the School for the outcome of the Application for Deferment will be provided.

Upon approval of the course deferment request, student would have to specify their intended return date and abide by the maximum course duration set by the school or any changes to the course during the period of deferment.

No deferment application is allowed after the 4th lesson.
