Description:
This module addresses the development of practical skills in the configuration, maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting of modern operating systems and develops knowledge of computer architecture. The students will gain hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Description:
This module covers the use of Entity Relationship (ER) Modelling in detail, using real life examples, practical business problems and solutions. The ER model captures the data requirements and business rules, and forms a sound basis for the initial design of a relational database. The second part of the module covers the design process and presents the considerations for creating a normalized, stable, maintainable and well-defined relational database.

Description:
This module introduces students to the concepts of 3D modelling. Students will learn to understand how basic 3D models are created, providing textures and the rendering procedures to create the final 3D model. Students will also get a first-hand understanding of manipulating and appreciating 3D paths to produce the final required 3D animation. This module will prepare students for moving on to 3D game techniques and creating their own 3D movie files.

Description:
This module equips students with the skills required for the design and development of a 3D mobile game using Unity3D and Android SDK software. The students will learn about lighting, camera, audio, 3D modelling, texturing, animation controls, collision detection and event handling to develop a 3D mobile game to run in an Android-based device. Students will learn game design through story-writing, user interface diagrams and UML class diagrams.

Description:
This module provides students with the necessary training to develop a website using HTML and JavaScript. Students will learn to organize texts, images, table, menu and interactive components to produce a complete website. The module will also train students to understand how different multimedia and game objects can be embedded. This will provide a better understanding on how their future game or animation work can be placed on the internet.

Description:
This module will introduce students to the topic of Esports, and the common game genres that are associated to the topic. Students will learn the history of Esports and its evolution along the timeline, as well as the Esports ecosystem. Students will also learn about the culture and the contemporary issues behind the Esports industry.
