Positions available

IT Lecturer – Gaming and Animation (Part time/Adjunct)

You will be responsible to conduct lectures at Diploma, Advanced Diploma and/or Degree levels for our full/part time students at our campus at the National Library Building. Apart from teaching, you will also be involved in updating curriculum, preparing course materials, setting of assessment papers as well as marking and moderation of assessments for our students. You must maintain own professional development and keep updated with technical knowledge of relevant subject matter.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Game Design/Development or related discipline. Master degree holder and above would be given preference.
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • With experience in any of the following areas:
    –    2D/3D graphics engine programming (Unity3d) to develop games.
    –    Object oriented game programming (Java, C++, C#) and familiarity with OOP design principles
    –    Digital media and digital graphic design
    –    3D modeling and animation
    –    Machine vision
  • Mobile games/app development experience will be an added advantage.
  • Able to conduct day/evening classes.

 

Part time / Adjunct IT Lecturer

You will be responsible to conduct lectures and tutorials at Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Degree levels for our full/part time students at our campus at the National Library Building and for our distance learning students via our online platforms. Apart from teaching, you will also be involved in updating curriculum, preparing course materials, setting of assessment papers as well as marking and moderation of assessments. You must maintain own professional development and keep updated with technical knowledge of relevant subject matter.

Requirements:

  • Masters in Computer Science or related discipline. Ph.D qualification (or near completion) would be an added advantage.
  • Have at least 3 years of work experience in IT industry
  • Strong expertise, knowledge and practical skills to lecture, set assessments, supervise student projects and prepare course materials in the following specialisations:
    –    Database Management
    –    Information Systems
    –    Networking and Security
    –    Software Engineering
    –    System Analysis
  • Able to conduct evening/weekend classes
  • Experience with online teaching and/or managing working adults, would be an added advantage

 

Part time / Freelance IT Instructors

You will be responsible to conduct computer literacy workshops for an innovative suite of computing qualifications awarded by NCC Education, UK known as the Digi series that covers core digital skills, coding, computational thinking and online safety.

Using an up-to-date computer science curriculum, you will support the teaching and learning of digital literacy and computing for young learners aged between 5 to 16 years old at our campus at the National Library Building or at schools, as an enrichment or holiday activity.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science or related discipline
  • Experience in tutoring/teaching or working with children will be advantageous
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to conduct weekend classes

 

Sales Officer

You shall be responsible for the promotion and recruitment of students for our higher education (full time, part time and online) programmes. You shall prospect for students, provide sales consultation, perform telemarketing, attend to walk-in enquiries and participate in road shows and educational fairs/events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline
  • Relevant working experience will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and adapt to changes
  • Strong team player with positive attitude, perseverance and resilience

 

Contract Finance Officer (9 months Maternity Cover)

Responsibilities:

  • Support Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
  • Review and record daily collections and transactions
  • Check, verify and record staff/agent commission
  • Handle journal entries, accounts reconciliation, month/year end closing
  • Check and record staff/agent commission
  • Assist in checking accuracy of data migrated and all related procedures in parallel run and testing of new student database system
  • Provide timely reports to Reporting Officer and relevant stakeholders
  • Handle ad-hoc accounting related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be able to commit for 9 months
  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting
  • Proficient in advanced excel (Pivot, vlookup, etc)
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and adapt to changes
  • Strong team player with positive attitude, perseverance and resilience
