FAQs for Local Students

Yes, all programmes conducted by Informatics Academy are permitted by CPE under the Enhance Registration Framework.

The classes will be conducted at Informatics City Campus.

Our operating hours is as follows:

Monday – Friday: 9.00am – 8.30pm
Saturday: 10.00am – 2.00pm.
We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Students can approach the following for Education Loan:

  • MAYBANK – 06 and 12 amonths
  • SCB BANK – 12 and 24 months
  • BOC BANK – 06, 12 and 24 months

There are no make-up lessons. However, students are encouraged to consult our lecturers or seek assistance during break time.

Part-Time students are required to obtain a minimum of 75% attendance.

A typical class size ranges from about 10 to 40 students for effective learning and communication. In the event that a class is cancelled by Informatics Academy, students shall be informed 2 weeks prior to the date of course commencement.

A student may apply for deferment of course or module by submitting the Application of Deferment form with the accompanying supporting documents.

Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and a deferment fee would be applicable upon approval for requests submitted after the term commences. A written response from the School for the outcome of the Application for Deferment will be provided.

Upon approval of the course deferment request, student would have to specify their intended return date and abide by the maximum course duration set by the school or any changes to the course during the period of deferment.

No deferment application is allowed after the 4th lesson. For Student Pass holders, the reapplication of the student pass is subject to the approval of ICA and Informatics will not be held responsible.
